Each year, from 2005-08, with incredible generosity, Richard and Donna Holbrook gave a prize to two graduating students from the University of Toronto's Opera School -- an all-expenses paid opportunity to come on an opera tour with Iain and Barbara.

In this way, aspiring singers, who may one day sing on the stages of La Scala or La Fenice were given a unique chance to see these houses as an audience member.
