What you will learn in this course:

Giuseppe Verdi is the “heart” of Italian opera in two senses. He dominates the central segment of the “golden century of Italian Opera: 1815-1915”. He is also the composer with the greatest and most profound insights into human motivations and behaviour. In this course we will explore the works of his mature period, where his mastery of the art form is at its most developed.
